Cheese broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 pt
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 3/4 tsp
- fresh broccoli
- Velveeta - 1 lb
- cornstarch, mixed with 1 c - 1/2 tsp
How to make cheese broccoli soup:
Steam broccoli until tender. Put half and half and water in top of double boiler. Add cheese, salt and pepper. Heat until cheese is melted. Add cooked, chopped broccoli. Mix cornstarch and water in small bowl. Stir into cheese mixture and cook until soup thickens. Makes 10 (1 cup) servings.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Broccoli.
