Breakfast casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 5 item
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- evaporated milk - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- slices bread - 8 item
- grated Swiss cheese - 1/2 c
- sausage - 1 lb
- sharp cheese - 1/2 c
- regular mustard - 1 tsp
How to make breakfast casserole:
Break bread into small pieces. Line bottom of an oiled 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle sausage over bread; add cheeses. Combine both milks with eggs; stir in seasonings and pour over the sausage mixture. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Bring to almost room temperature and bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
