  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • slices bread - 4 item
  • mushrooms - 1 item
  • sausage - 1 lb

How to make sausage and egg casserole:

Brown and drain sausage. Beat eggs; add milk, salt, pepper and mustard. Place bread crumbs in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Crumble sausage over bread. Add cheese and mushrooms. Pour egg mixture over top. Refrigerate 8 to 10 hours. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350°.
