Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 3/4 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
  • finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • minced garlic - 1 item
  • beer - 1/2 c
  • sliced green onions optional - 1 item
  • Velveeta, cubed - 1 lb
  • Parkay stick - 1 Tbsp
  • hot sauce few drops - 1 item

How to make beer soup:

Cook and stir 1/2 cup onion, garlic and Parkay in a large saucepan on medium-high heat until tender. Reduce to medium-low heat. Add Velveeta cheese, milk, beer, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until Velveeta is melted and soup is hot. Pour into 4 serving bowls; sprinkle with sliced green onions.
