Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- water - 1 c
- beer - 1 pt
- salt and sugar - 1 item
How to make beer soup:
Add water to beer; let come to a boil. Season with salt and nutmeg, if desired. Beat yolks well with a little sugar and flour, mixed; add milk. Stir until smooth. Stir all together in the hot beer mixture; let come nearly to a boil. Fold in beaten whites and serve at once with toasted bread cubes.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups, Onions.
