Tomato soup
Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- can milk - 1 oz
- dash of Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
- can tomato paste - 1/2 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- parsley - 1 item
- cube margarine - 1/2 item
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
How to make tomato soup:
Note: Instead of a 28 ounce can of tomatoes, I sometimes use 28 ounce can of stewed tomatoes with the cornstarch and tomato paste.Heat together slowly (do not boil): milk, water, margarine, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and parsley. While mixture is heating, mix together and put in blender tomatoes, cornstarch and tomato paste. When the milk mixture is heated, put soda in tomato mixture and pour slowly (stirring constantly) into milk. Continue heating entire mixture slowly, stirring occasionally. Do not boil!
