  • water - 1/2 c
  • beef bouillon cube optional - 1 item
  • beef pot roast - 1 lb
  • carrots, pared and sliced - 8 item
  • medium potatoes, pared and sliced - 8 item
  • favorite seasonings - 1 item
  • onion, peeled and sliced optional - 1/2 item

How to make beef pot roast:

Put vegetables in bottom of crock-pot. Season meat and add it to crock-pot. Add the water. If desired, the onion and bouillon cube may be added before adding the water. Cover and cook on high setting for 4 hours.

This recipe is based on using a 3 1/2-quart crock-pot and should feed 4 people.
