Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 3/4 c
- self-rising flour - 4 c
- warm water - 2 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make batter rolls:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Add the shortening and egg. Mix well. Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake at 450° for 20 minutes. This batter is fine refrigerated.Recipe categories: Breads, Healthy, Weeknight.
