Barbecue sauce
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- dry mustard - 2 Tbsp
- prepared horseradish - 2 Tbsp
- salt to taste - 1 item
- juice of 1 lemon
- bottle catsup - 1 oz
- can beer - 1 item
- bottle Worcestershire sauce - 1 oz
- Tabasco - 2 Tbsp
How to make barbecue sauce:
Stir all together in a pot and simmer, uncovered, until sauce is thick, approximately 3 to 5 hours. Makes 1 quart.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Southern u.s., Cajun.
