Baked lima beans
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 2 tsp
- canned tomatoes - 2 c
- sliced onions - 1/2 c
- cubed, cooked ham - 1 lb
- frozen limas, partially thawed - 2 pkg
How to make baked lima beans:
Saute onions in butter. Keep your heat down to avoid burning. Place beans, ham and onions in a 2-quart casserole. Mix tomatoes and mustard separately; pour over ingredients in casserole. Top with brown sugar. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 325°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Beans, Amish/mennonite.
