Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 4 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- sliced carrots - 3 item
- canned tomatoes
- sliced onions - 1 c
- flank or round steak, cut 1-inch thick
How to make swiss steak:
Mix together dry mustard, flour and salt. Pound mixture into the steak, covering both sides thoroughly. Brown on both sides in roasting pan. Cover meat with onions, carrots and tomatoes.
