Baked cheddar olives
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/2 c
- oleo, softened - 2 Tbsp
- cayenne - 1/8 tsp
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- jar small pimiento-stuffed green olives about 24, drained and patted dry - 3 oz
How to make baked cheddar olives:
In a bowl, combine cheese and oleo; add flour and cayenne. Blend until combined well. Drop by tablespoon onto waxed paper and wrap or mold each tablespoon around each of the olives completely. Bake on cookie sheet at 400° for 15 minutes or until pastry is golden. Serve warm.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Appetizers, Cheese.
