Baked acorn squash
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 item
- butter - 1 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- acorn squash - 1 item
How to make baked acorn squash:
Cut squash in half. Remove pulp and seeds. Place a generous dab of butter in each cavity. Add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and dash of nutmeg on top of butter. Place in baking dish. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until tender. Cooking time can be cut down by precooking squash in microwave for 15 minutes.
