Bacon cheddar muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- cooking oil - 1/3 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- shredded sharp cheese - 1/2 c
- strips bacon, cooked and crumbled - 6 item
How to make bacon cheddar muffins:
Spray muffin pan with Pam. In a large bowl, mix flour, cheese, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a small bowl, mix egg, milk and oil. Add to flour mixture. Stir until moist. Batter will be lumpy. Fold in the crumbled bacon. Fill the muffin cups even with the top. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes or until muffins are golden.
