Bacon bits
Ingredients/Components
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp
- thick sliced bacon - 1 lb
- saltine cracker crumbs fine - 1 item
How to make bacon bits:
Cut bacon slices in fourths. Separate slices. Combine eggs, vinegar, dry mustard and cayenne pepper. Keep egg mixture beaten and fluffy. Dip bacon slices in egg mixture, then roll in cracker crumbs. Place bacon bits on broiler pan so fat can drain. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. May be frozen and reheated.Recipe categories: Meat, Pork, Bacon.
