Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 tsp
- water
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 4 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- onion - 1 item
- cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
- celery - 1/2 c
- horseradish - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire - 3 Tbsp
- butter or oil - 2 Tbsp
How to make barbecue sauce:
Cook onion and garlic in melted butter until lightly brown. Add dry ingredients, then add remainder of ingredients. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Pour over meat.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Southern u.s., Cajun.
