Bacon and water chestnuts
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- chili sauce - 1/4 c
- Miracle Whip - 1/4 c
- bacon - 1 lb
- cans water chestnuts - 2 item
How to make bacon and water chestnuts:
Drain water chestnuts; cut in halves. Cut bacon strips into thirds; roll bacon around chestnuts. Pierce with toothpicks. Place in 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, or until brown. Pour off grease. Mix remaining ingredients in bowl; pour over chestnuts. Just before serving, bake for 15 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Appetizers, 5 ingredients or less.
