Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ketchup - 1 c
- spareribs - 4 lb
How to make barbecued spareribs:
You will need 2 (10-inch) skillets and a baking pan.Have spareribs cut into serving size pieces. Brown slowly in two 10-inch skillets. Put in a baking pan. Pour fat from skillet and melt butter in skillet. Add onion and cook until brown. Add next 9 ingredients and let simmer for 20 minutes. Set oven for 350°.
Pour sauce over ribs. Bake, covered, for 1 1/2 hours. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
