  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • large cans asparagus spears - 2 item
  • stack crackers - 1 item
  • Velveeta small box

How to make asparagus casserole:

Heat asparagus liquid; add margarine. Mix 1 cup water and flour. Pour slowly into boiling mixture. Stir; add cheese and melt. Make 3 layers of asparagus, crackers and nuts. Pour sauce over all layers. Sprinkle crackers and nuts on top. Bake at 475° until brown, about 5 minutes.
