Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled - 4 item
  • cream of mushroom soup - 1 c
  • 2 1/2 can asparagus 20 oz
  • fine cheese - 1 c
  • flavored cracker crumbs - 1 item

How to make asparagus casserole:

Drain asparagus. Save liquid. Sprinkle 1/3 of cracker crumbs evenly in the bottom of casserole. Top with layer of asparagus. Spread 1/2 mushroom soup evenly over asparagus. Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons asparagus liquid. Repeat layering, ending with cracker crumbs. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with bacon. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for about 20 minutes.
