- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- dash of red pepper - 1 item
- can asparagus - 1 item
- glass Old English cheese - 1 item
- fine Waverly crumbs
How to make asparagus:
Cheese Sauce:1 1/2 c. milk1 tsp. salt4 Tbsp. butter3 Tbsp. flour dash of red pepper1 glass Old English cheese Cheese Sauce: Cook until smooth, then add cheese.Line bottom of dish with mixed crumbs and butter, 1 cup. Add asparagus (drain and cut in 1-inch pieces). Sprinkle with toasted almonds (slivered). Cover with sauce. Add rest of crumbs. Bake at 450° for 12 minutes.
