Ingredients/Components

  • melted butter - 1 item
  • can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • can mushroom soup, undiluted - 1 item
  • to 2 cans asparagus - 1 item
  • box frozen peas, not thawed - 1 item
  • bread strips - 1 item

How to make asparagus casserole:

Layer asparagus, peas, soup and water chestnuts. Dip bread strips in melted butter. Place on top and cover with cheese. Cook for 30 minutes at 350°.
