Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- apples, peeled and sliced - 8 item
How to make apple crunch:
Place apples in shallow greased baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Add water. Combine brown sugar and flour; cut in softened butter or margarine very finely. Spread over apples. Bake in 9 x 2-inch baking dish at 400° for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°. Bake for 25 minutes more. Makes 8 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Apple.
