Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon
- butter or margarine - 3/4 c
- flour
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 3/8 tsp
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- tart apples - 1 item
How to make apple crisp:
Grease a 9 x 12-inch pan and fill with thinly sliced apples; pour 1/2 cup water over apples.Mix flour, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Blend in butter or margarine.
Spread mixture over apples and bake at 325° about 1/2 hour or until apples are soft.
