Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- flour - 2/3 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- uncooked oatmeal - 1/2 c
- to 6 medium apples, sliced - 5 item
How to make apple crisp:
Arrange apples in a lightly oiled 2 1/2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and oatmeal. Cut butter into mixture with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Spread over fruit. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes or until apples are tender.Recipe categories: Desserts, Apple, Cobblers and crisps.
