Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 3 Tbsp
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- thinly sliced apples - 4 c
- Beat together
How to make apple cake:
Beat eggs until foamy; add sugar and oil. Beat together. Add vanilla, soda, flour, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Batter will be thick. Stir in apples and nuts. Pour into greased baking dish. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes to cool. Frost when cool.Frosting:6 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)3 Tbsp. melted butter1 tsp. vanilla2 c. powdered sugar Mix together until blended.
