Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • oil - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • melted butter - 3 Tbsp
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • thinly sliced apples - 4 c
  • Beat together

How to make apple cake:

Beat eggs until foamy; add sugar and oil. Beat together. Add vanilla, soda, flour, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Batter will be thick. Stir in apples and nuts. Pour into greased baking dish. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes to cool. Frost when cool.Frosting:6 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)3 Tbsp. melted butter1 tsp. vanilla2 c. powdered sugar Mix together until blended. Spread on cool cake.
