Zucchini with cheese
Ingredients/Components
- zucchini about 4 c
- flour - 1/4 c
- salt
- oregano
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- medium tomatoes, sliced - 2 item
- dairy sour cream - 1 c
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
How to make zucchini with cheese:
Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. With stiff brush, scrub zucchini well. Cut crosswise into slices. In medium bowl, combine flour with 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon oregano and pepper. Toss zucchini slices in seasoned flour to coat them well. Slowly heat oil in large heavy skillet. Saute zucchini until golden brown on each side. Drain. Cover bottom of baking dish with zucchini. Top with tomato slices. Combine sour cream, rest of salt, oregano and pepper. Spread evenly over tomato slices. Then sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake 40 to 45 minutes until zucchini is tender.Recipe categories: Squash, Low calorie, Vegetables.
