Zucchini pie
Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/2 c
- unpeeled, grated zucchini - 4 c
- diced onion - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- parsley - 3 Tbsp
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 2 c
- can crescent roll dough - 8 oz
- Dijon or regular mustard - 2 tsp
How to make zucchini pie:
Baking Temperature: 375°. Baking Time: 18 to 20 minutes.Melt margarine and add zucchini and onion. Cook about 10 minutes until tender. Add seasonings and parsley. In large bowl, blend eggs and cheese. Stir in vegetable mixture.
Separate dough and place in ungreased 7 x 12-inch baking dish. Press dough over bottom and sides. Spread crust with mustard. Pour vegetable mixture into crust. Bake until knife comes out clean.
