Ingredients/Components
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- zucchini, sliced thin enough to fill large frypan - 1 item
- large onion, sliced thin - 1 item
- Pillsbury crescent rolls regular size - 1 item
- grated cheese use 2 or 3 different kinds, the sharper, the better
- garlic salt, pepper, parsley, prepared mustard, butter and/or olive oil - 1 item
How to make zucchini pie:
Place rolls flat in oblong baking dish. Press to spread out as far as they will go. Spread a thin layer of mustard over dough (spicy mustard is good). Saut?© zucchini and onions in oil or butter until onions are crystal color. Mix in bowl the vegetables, eggs, 1/2 of cheese and the seasonings. Pour over dough; dot with butter and place balance of cheese on top. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes to 1/2 hour until crust is brown and cheese is bubbly.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Italian, European.
