  • sugar
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour
  • cocoa - 1/4 c
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 6 oz
  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • soft butter - 1/2 c
  • shredded zucchini - 2 c
  • chocolate flavoring - 1/2 tsp

How to make zucchini chocolate cake:

Preheat oven to 325°. Grease and lightly flour 9 x 13-inch pan. Beat together butter, oil and sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in flavorings. Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition. Stir in zucchini.

Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake 55 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
