Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- buttermilk or sour milk - 1/2 c
- flour
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- grated, unpeeled zucchini - 2 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- nuts - 1/2 1
How to make zucchini chocolate cake:
Cream margarine, oil and sugar; add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. Add flour, cocoa, soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Stir in zucchini. Put in 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with chocolate chips and nuts. Sprinkle sugar over top. Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes. Very moist. Freezes well.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Breads.
