Zucchini chocolate cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- cloves, ground - 1/4 tsp
- sour milk - 1/2 c
- shredded peeled zucchini - 2 c
How to make zucchini chocolate cake:
In mixing bowl, cream butter, oil and sugar; add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Combine flour, cocoa, soda, powder and spices together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk; and mix well. Stir in the zucchini. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.To sour milk, place 1 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar in a measuring cup, then add milk to equal 1/2 cup.
