Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1 item
- clove garlic - 1 item
- small zucchini, sliced - 4 item
- pork sausage - 1 lb
- small bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- hot pepper cheese - 1 item
How to make zucchini casserole:
Brown sausage. Saute pepper, onion, garlic and zucchini with sausage. Put 1/2 of mixture in large casserole and add a layer of hot pepper cheese. Repeat the 2 layers. Top with sliced fresh mushrooms, if desired. Cook 1 hour at 350° covered then cook 1/2 hour uncovered or until juice cooks out.Recipe categories: Egg, Side dish, Casseroles.
