Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- cooked squash - 4 c
- grated cheese Cheddar - 3/4 c
How to make yellow squash casserole:
Cool squash and mash; saute onion and bell pepper in butter until tender. Mix with other ingredients reserving a small amount of cheese and cracker crumbs for garnish. Put in a greased 2-quart casserole. Garnish with cheese and cracker crumbs. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes uncovered.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Low calorie, Cheese.
