Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 4 5
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- well beaten egg - 1 item
- hot water - 1 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
How to make yeast rolls:
Mix water with butter. Add sugar. Let stand until warm. Add egg. Mix yeast in a small amount of water; add to other ingredients. Add flour. Salt to taste. Knead 2 or 3 minutes. Let double in bulk, then punch down. Make out into buns; let rise again. Bake at 350° or until brown. Brush with butter before baking.Recipe categories: Breads, Low cholesterol, Low fat.
