Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- wonton skins - 1 pkg
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- ground pork - 3/4 lb
- sweet and sour sauce - 1 item
- can water chestnuts Chinese, raw whole - 1 item
- green onions, raw bulb and white part of top - 1/4 c
How to make wontons:
Combine first 6 ingredients in a bowl; mix well. Place 1/2 teaspoon of mixture in the center of each wonton skin. Fold wonton skin over filling to form triangle. Seal with water. Deep fry wontons at 375° for 2 to 3 minutes or until brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and serve with sauce.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Meat, Pork.
