German meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- dark brown sugar - 1/4 c
- can jellied cranberry sauce - 1 item
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- Mrs - 1 pkg
- ground chuck
- can Bavarian sauerkraut - 1 item
How to make german meatballs:
Mix the first 4 ingredients together and form into small meatballs. Place on a cookie sheet and bake in a 375° preheated oven until brown, turning meatballs to keep them cooking through thoroughly.In a saucepan, melt the cranberry sauce with the brown sugar. Add the sauerkraut. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often. Place meatballs in casserole. Pour sauce over and bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
