Ingredients/Components
- chopped fresh parsley - 1/2 c
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste - 1 item
- dry sherry - 1/2 c
- slivered almonds - 1 c
- brown rice - 1 c
- wild rice - 1 c
- dried currants - 1 c
- chicken stock, boiling
- 3/4 stick unsalted butter - 6 Tbsp
How to make wild rice salad:
In a small saucepan, bring the currants and sherry to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside.
