Weepless meringue
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- cold water - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- egg whites - 3 item
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
How to make weepless meringue:
Mix together cornstarch and cold water in small saucepan. Stir in boiling water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat and cool. Add cream of tartar to egg whites, beat until soft peaks formRecipe categories: Pie, Pies and tarts, Cakes.
