Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- cold water - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- egg whites - 3 item
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- sugar - 1/3 c
How to make meringue:
Mix cornstarch and cold water. Add boiling water. Cook about 2 minutes. Cool. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar to soft peaks. Add sugar gradually. Add cornstarch mixture all at once. Beat until blended. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Low fat, Condiments, etc..
