Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 1
- butter - 1/2 c
- cheese, shredded - 1/2 c
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- cornbread stuffing mix
- or more onions, sliced - 4 c
How to make vidalia onion casserole:
Cook onions in butter in a large skillet until transparent and golden. Place onions in a casserole dish; top with a mixture of sour cream, soup, cheese and 1 cup of bread stuffing. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of stuffing over top; dot with butter. Bake in a 350° oven for 20 minutes, until bubbly.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Casseroles.
