Ingredients/Components

  • venison meat stew size - 2 3
  • water
  • salt - 2 Tbsp
  • to 6 cubed carrots - 5 item
  • stalk celery, cut up - 1 item
  • tomatoes, cut up - 2 c
  • medium potatoes, cut up - 2 item
  • chopped onions - 2 item
  • bay leaf - 1 item

How to make venison stew:

Soak the meat in salted water for several hours. Simmer slowly for 2 hours, skimming occasionally. Let the broth stand overnight.

Next day, remove congealed fat. Add vegetables and cook slowly for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until the vegetables are done.
