- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- eggs - 4 item
- box lemon Jell-O - 1 item
- apricot nectar - 3/4 c
- oil - 3/4 c
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar
- nectar
How to make apricot nectar cake:
Frosting:2 c. powdered sugar juice of 2 lemons or 1/3 c. nectar Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff. Blend cake mix and Jell-O thoroughly. Add beaten egg yolks, nectar, oil and flavoring. Fold in egg whites. Bake in greased tube pan at 325° for 1 hour.Frosting: Mix together. Pour over hot cake. Let cool before serving.
