  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
  • soy sauce - 1 item
  • black pepper - 1 item
  • Texas Pete hot sauce - 1 item
  • seasoned meat tenderizer - 1 item
  • thinly sliced strips venison - 1 2

How to make venison jerky:

Use no salt unless desired.

The more spices the better. Place strips of venison, along with all other ingredients, in airtight container. Be sure to be generous with ingredients. Keep mixing. Let sit for 1 to 2 days (marinade). Place in ungreased baking pan at 350° for several hours. Turn meat throughout cooking to make sure juices are sealed in. Bake to desired consistency, usually stiff and dried. Let cool and store in container. Keeps for several days.
