Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- ketchup
- wine vinegar
- hot pepper sauce - 1 item
- cloves garlic, crushed - 2 item
- black pepper - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 Tbsp
- can beer - 3/4 item
- prepared mustard or 1 tsp - 1/2 c
- chili sauce optional
- beef brisket or flank steak - 2 lb
- liquid smoke pour in 1/3 bottle
How to make beef barbecue:
Marinade:2 1/2 c. ketchup3/4 c. brown sugar1 1/2 c. chili sauce (optional)1 1/2 c. wine vinegar3/4 can beer1/2 c. lemon juice1/2 c. prepared mustard or 1 tsp. dry mustard1 Tbsp. celery seed4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce2 Tbsp. soy sauce2 cloves garlic, crushed hot pepper sauce black pepper liquid smoke (pour in 1/3 bottle) If using flank steak, simply marinate overnight. Empty into a crock-pot; cook on low for 8 hours.If using beef brisket, marinate overnight or longer. Put in pan lined with foil. Cook, fat side up, at 450° for 15 minutes (until browned). Turn and brown 10 minutes. Lower to 250°. Pour off fat; wrap in new foil. Cook for 4 hours. Cut and serve on soft dinner rolls.
