Vegetable burger soup
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 2 c
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- can 2 c - 1 lb
- dry onion soup mix - 1/2 envelope
How to make vegetable burger soup:
In a Dutch oven or large heavy saucepan, lightly brown ground beef; drain off excess fat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook 30 minutes. Serves 6.This is a reasonably inexpensive and hearty soup. Extra beef may be added. Add a little extra liquid and then add some thin spaghetti, broken in small pieces, when it has cooked 20 minutes.
