Veal piccata
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/3 c
- lemon juice - 3 4
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- chopped fresh parsley - 1 Tbsp
- veal slices very thin - 4 item
How to make veal piccata:
Combine flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder; set aside. Remove and discard any excess fat from veal and dredge in flour mixture.Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add veal; cook about 3 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towel. Add lemon juice to skillet and heat thoroughly. Return veal to skillet; add parsley and heat briefly. To serve, spoon lemon mixture over veal.
