Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • all-purpose flour - 1/3 c
  • lemon juice - 3 4
  • garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped fresh parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • veal slices very thin - 4 item

How to make veal piccata:

Combine flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder; set aside. Remove and discard any excess fat from veal and dredge in flour mixture.

Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add veal; cook about 3 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towel. Add lemon juice to skillet and heat thoroughly. Return veal to skillet; add parsley and heat briefly. To serve, spoon lemon mixture over veal.
