Ingredients/Components
- medium boneless chicken breast halves - 2 item
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/3 tsp
- onion powder - 2/3 tsp
- cayenne - 1/3 tsp
- paprika - 2/3 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- dried thyme - 1/3 tsp
- dash of ground cumin - 1 item
- Dip chicken in butter and dredge into mixture of all the spices
- honey - 1/3 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- Dijon mustard - 1 Tbsp
How to make blackened chicken salad:
Melt the butter. Dip chicken in butter and dredge into mixture of all the spices. Heat a heavy skillet to high heat. Drizzle a teaspoon of the butter onto the seasoned chicken and saut?© several at a time, butter side down, until blackened. Turn and repeat. Arrange the sliced chicken on a bed of mixed greens and serve with Honey-Mustard Dressing.Honey-Mustard Dressing:1/2 c. vegetable oil1/3 c. honey1/4 c. lemon juice1 Tbsp.
