Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • whipping cream - 1 c
  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
  • chicken broth - 2 c
  • slivered almonds - 1/4 c
  • cooked chicken, cubed - 3 c
  • cooking sherry - 1/2 c
  • spaghetti, cooked - 1/2 lb
  • cans mushrooms - 2 oz

How to make chicken tetrazzini:

Boil chicken; save water. Cut up in bite size pieces. Melt margarine; add flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken broth gradually; stir constantly until thickened. Add cream and cooking sherry. Heat. Combine sauce with spaghetti, mushrooms, chicken and almonds. Pour into 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes (no cover).
