Turkey jerky
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1 c
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- onion powder - 2 tsp
- turkey, sliced thin
- hickory salt or liquid smoke - 4 tsp
How to make turkey jerky:
Place strips of turkey in marinade of all ingredients for 6 hours. Drain, but do not rinse. Place meat on foil in center of oven. Set oven on 200°. Place a wedge in door (clothespin will work). Bake 10 hours or until meat turns a dirty brown. Check after 2 hours. Store in airtight container.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Turkey breasts.
