Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 4 Tbsp
  • soy sauce - 1 c
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • onion powder - 2 tsp
  • turkey, sliced thin
  • hickory salt or liquid smoke - 4 tsp

How to make turkey jerky:

Place strips of turkey in marinade of all ingredients for 6 hours. Drain, but do not rinse. Place meat on foil in center of oven. Set oven on 200°. Place a wedge in door (clothespin will work). Bake 10 hours or until meat turns a dirty brown. Check after 2 hours. Store in airtight container.
